Thanks to the unwavering commitment and exceptional leadership of Mrs. Cecile Guidote-Alvarez, UNESCO Artist for Peace Director, Earthsavers UNESCO DREAM Center President, and International Theatre, the SDGs ResiliArt Earthsaving Workshops, Festival, Forum, and Workshops were brought to life! Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, the project was successfully completed, starting on December 1-10, 2021, and continuing until February -April 20, 2022. The events showcased the power of culture, heritage, arts, and technology in promoting science and motivating people to take action to achieve the SDGs and fulfill the global commitment to the UN 2030 agenda.
The artistic community in the Philippines, along with international partners and funding support from the Senate, played an essential role in making the events a reality. A comprehensive report and composite activities were submitted to UNESCO, highlighting the collective efforts of participants from all continents.
Let's celebrate the success of these events and recognize the incredible contributions of Mrs. Cecile Guidote-Alvarez and the entire artistic community who made it happen!
